paradoxiclesA paradoxicle is frozen truth on a stick….  Actually, it’s a confounding truth from the Holy Spirit. Jesus’ way is counter-intuitive until we know him.

  • Love follows
  • A follower leads
  • A leader follows
  • to be first, be last
  • to live, die
  • to lead, serve
  • to be full, be empty
  • to have, give away
  • to serve God, be human; to serve humans, be godly
  • the more you want, the less you have
  • to know Christ, be poor in spirit
  • to be filled, be hungry
  • to be loved, give love
  • to be recognized, be humble
  • to win, lose
  • to battle, give up
  • independence is dependence; dependence is freedom from worry
  • peace comes in suffering
  • to defeat sin, repent and give up
  • to be great, be the least
  • to get ahead, follow
  • to inherit the earth, be meek
  • come as a child
  • don’t worry about tomorrow
  • do what you want and God will always be glad for you to repent and return
  • when struck, turn the other cheek
  • when forced to serve, serve more
  • when asked for your shirt, give your coat, too
  • being like Christ might get one crucified
  • the Kingdom of God is here
  • Truth on the inside, grace on the outside
  • to be in control, release control
  • godly wisdom is foolishness to the world
  • to change others, don’t judge
  • to help others see, clear your own eyes
  • Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
